Welcome to ACE Downloader (hereinafter referred to as "this Product")! We understand the importance of personal privacy to you and always prioritize the protection of the security of your personal information and your legal rights. To clearly and accurately explain how we collect, use, store, protect, share, and transfer your personal information when you use this Product, as well as your rights regarding your personal information, we have formulated this "ACE Downloader Privacy Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement").

Please carefully read and fully understand all terms of this Agreement before using this Product, especially those concerning the scope of information collection, methods of use, sharing rules, your rights, and liability limitations. Your use of this Product shall be deemed as your acceptance of all terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree with any provisions herein, please refrain from using this Product.

To comply with copyright law and other relevant laws and regulations, and to protect the legitimate rights and interests of video copyright owners and creators, we hereby declare:

This product is only used for playing local and online videos and saving playback links. If a video requires logging into a relevant platform account to play, then logging in to the corresponding platform is required.

Users must ensure that the user agreement of the video source platform they access complies with local copyright laws. All legal liabilities arising from unauthorized use shall be borne by the user.

I. Information Collection

We collect your information in accordance with the principles of "lawfulness, appropriateness, and necessity" and will not collect irrelevant information beyond what is necessary to fulfill the Product's functions and service objectives. The specific types and methods of information collected are as follows:

(1) Personal Information You Are Not Required to Provide

When you use the core functions of this Product, including but not limited to video downloading, built-in video playback, and photo cleaning (such as duplicate photo removal), you do not need to register an account. Therefore, we will not actively collect your personally identifiable information, such as your name, phone number, email address, home address, ID number, or bank account information.

(2) Device Information and Usage Data We Automatically Collect

To ensure the normal operation of this Product, optimize product performance, enhance your user experience, conduct product statistical analysis, and troubleshoot issues, we will automatically collect the following information related to your device and usage behavior through technical means when you use this Product:

Basic Device Information: Including but not limited to your device's unique identifiers (e.g., IMEI, MEID, Android ID, IDFA, OAID), device model (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra), device brand, device manufacturer, operating system version (e.g., iOS 18.0, Android 15), system language (e.g., English, Spanish), screen resolution, memory size, storage capacity, network type (e.g., Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G), network operator information, and device time zone.

Usage Behavior Data: Including but not limited to the specific times you use this Product (e.g., first launch time, each launch time), access history (e.g., access and exit times, duration of use), functional modules used (e.g., video download, photo cleaning, excluding the actual content of videos or photos), operation history, and product error information (e.g., error time, error code, and related logs, used for troubleshooting and repair).

II. Location Information Collected Based on Your Authorization

(1) Purpose and Scope of Collection

If you wish to use the personalized location-based services provided by this Product (e.g., recommending region-specific tools or services; specific service content is subject to the actual Product offering), you may choose to enable your device's location function and authorize this Product to access your location information. In such cases, we may collect your approximate location information (typically based on network IP address or cell tower data, with city-level accuracy). We will not collect precise location information that can identify your specific residence or real-time whereabouts unless explicitly requested by the Product and with your separate authorization.

(2) Your Control

You have the right to enable or disable authorization for this Product to access your location information at any time through your device's system settings or the relevant permission settings within this Product. Once you disable authorization, we will immediately cease collecting your location information, without affecting your use of other core features of this Product that do not require location data.

III. Information We Do Not Collect

We explicitly undertake not to collect your sensitive personal information, such as biometric data (e.g., fingerprints, facial recognition data), bank account information, credit information, medical and health information, or social network information, without your explicit authorization. We also do not collect your local video or photo content (except for temporary caching on your device for functional processing, such as video playback or photo scanning). After processing, this cached information will be deleted in accordance with your settings or the Product's default rules and will not be uploaded to our servers for storage, unless otherwise specified in this Agreement.

IV. Use of Information

We only use your information to fulfill the functions and service objectives of this Product, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and this Agreement. Specific usage scenarios are as follows:

(1) Provision of Core Services

The information we collect is primarily used to provide you with the services you request, including but not limited to social media video downloading (in HD quality), built-in video playback (offline and smooth playback), photo cleaning (duplicate removal, freeing up storage space), and batch download management. This ensures that you can use all functions of this Product normally and smoothly.

(2) Service Maintenance and Troubleshooting

By collecting device information, usage behavior data, and error information, we can promptly identify and address failures, vulnerabilities, or anomalies that may occur during the operation of this Product. This allows us to conduct technical investigations and repairs, ensuring the stability, security, and availability of the Product, and minimizing inconvenience caused by technical issues.

(3) Product Optimization and User Experience Enhancement

We may analyze non-personally identifiable usage data (e.g., feature usage frequency, device compatibility) to optimize the Product's interface design, improve function responsiveness, and develop new features that better meet user needs. All such analyses will be conducted on an aggregated and anonymized basis, without identifying individual users.

V. Information Sharing

To provide you with enhanced products and services (e.g., server hosting, cloud storage, data analytics, customer support), we may share certain necessary information with third-party service providers, but only to the minimum extent required to fulfill specific service functions. We will never share your personally identifiable information with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Examples of such sharing include:

(1) Sharing de-identified, non-personally identifiable information (e.g., device model, system version, feature usage types and frequency) with data analytics service providers to conduct product usage statistical analysis.

(2) Sharing your contact information (e.g., email address) and problem description with customer support service providers solely to enable customer service personnel to resolve your inquiries or issues.

(3) We will enter into strict confidentiality agreements with all third-party service providers, clearly defining their responsibilities and obligations regarding information protection. We will also supervise their information handling practices and require them to take appropriate security measures to protect your information. We will not be liable for any unauthorized use or disclosure of information by third-party service providers that violates the terms of the agreement.

VI. Agreement Amendments

We reserve the right to modify or update this Agreement in accordance with changes in national laws and regulations, adjustments to product functions and services, or changes in user needs. Any modifications to this Agreement shall comply with the following rules:

(1) The updated agreement will take effect on the specified effective date. If you continue to use this product after the effective date, it will be deemed that you have accepted the modified agreement. If you do not agree to the modified agreement, please stop using this product immediately.

(2) We will retain the original version of this agreement for your reference. You can view historical versions through product settings or by contacting our customer support.
